This is a zany delight-- a farce, harkening back to the glorious comedies of the ‘30s and ‘40s.  The time: 1942.  The place: Palm Beach’s luxurious Royale Hotel, about to play host to a star-studded USO benefit.  The only problem?  The benefit’s headliners are two Hollywood divas, who can’t stand the sight of each other; their long-standing feud is the stuff of tinsel town legend.  When they are accidentally assigned to the same hotel suite, chaos seems sure to follow.  Their long-suffering assistants must conspire with the hotel’s resourceful staff to keep the two grande dames from ever encountering each other.  The result is a frothy blend of mistaken identities, witty wordplay, charming romance and riotous slapstick.
